Appointment options:

  • A comprehensive initial evaluation is required for the first visit to collect an in-depth history of injuries, a thorough physical exam, a running specific series of tests to identify muscle imbalances, and a running gait assessment if applicable. A plan of care is established at the end of the visit with a personalized home exercise program. This is a great place to start for individuals who have never been seen for their injury and are not sure where to start (a gait assessment may or may not be part of this visit or sometimes done in follow up visits).

  • A physical therapy follow up is for returning clients and includes all manual therapy treatment as necessary on a case by case basis. Follow up sessions are beneficial to either refine, progress, or regress exercises. Careful time is invested in ensuring exercises are done correctly. If it has been over 1 year since your last PT appointment, please schedule an initial evaluation.

  • A gait assessment is for runners who want to specifically be seen for running gait to optimize their running form to improve efficiency and decrease risk of injury. Full injury history, physical examination, and running goals will be taken into consideration when modifying running form. Running metrics will be recorded with Run Scribe and/ or Run Easi. A home exercise program is included in this appointment.

  • This is a virtual follow up appointment available for CA clients only. As per state of CA laws, telehealth can only be provided within state. You’d be suprised how much we can accomplish virtually! 30-60 min appointments available. Please email to schedule.
