There is never a good time to get covid (period!). After evading covid for 2.5 years, my time was due. I do consider myself quite fortunate that I got covid after the vaccine and booster. Even though we’re 2.5 years into this pandemic, there is little known about return to sport guidelines for athletes post-covid since every case is so variable. Full disclaimer: I am not providing medical advice for those with covid and you should still consult with your physician. I am simply sharing my experience and decision making process for those who can relate (I also consulted with a doctor the entire time).
